As you may recall I am splitting my podcast into two, Maximo Bite Size which is work related, and The Diary of a Digital Nobody, which is non-work related.

Therefore, it is time for some honest feedback on my podcast logo and I’m still accepting four letter words.
The Diary of a Digital Nobody is the weekly diary that I have been scripting for the last 8 weeks. It will be where I learn to be a podcaster, and I may be the only listener. The website which will be behind this will morph overtime into my digital scrapbook, with one blog page for each of the hobbies that I have embarked on, Pies, Quiches, and Tarts – Ice Creams and Sorbets – Cocktails (Mixology) – Our Garden.
The reason for the title, it is a take on the George and Weedon Grossmith book – The Diary of a Nobody. The book is the Victorian version of Bridget Jones’s Diary, it is a funny book. It is a story of a family in a London suburb, in the area and class of London clerks – nobody of any importance.
I’ve been calling myself a digital nobody or digitally anonymous for some years. I’m not on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, and I couldn’t imagine myself on YouTube or TikTok, and if I ever had something on YouTube it would still be under the brand of MaximoSecrets. So, I aim to remain anonymous on social media and save myself a lot of time. LinkedIn is likely to remain my only outlet, oh, I forgot, WordPress Reader as well.
The thoughts behind the podcast logo were:
- Same background colour as Maximo Bite Size.
- A font that looks like it might be digital
- The diary – obvious
- A family with two dogs, a diary of life at home
- Black silhouette figures – there’s nothing of importance in those figures
I’m not an artistic sort of person, so all feedback most welcome – where’s my hard hat.
